When I think about it, the only word that comes to my mind is FEAR.

If we do what others say and if something doesn’t happen according to the plan  we will have someone to blame for.

On the other hand, if we follow our opinion we will be fully responsible for everything that happens (good or not so good).

In the book “The art of non-conformity” by Chris Guillebeau, he asks this simple  question:

• What would you do if you were not afraid?

Start by answering to this question and start making your own map.

The others will eventually follow your map. Who knows?

When we are accused of making a mistake (this happens most of the times) a part of us will always try to get some external excuse or someone to point the finger at. Why?

Perhaps because, for the vast majority, is more difficult to face reality rather than accepting we do make mistakes and only by change can we improve.

We must accept error and use them to learn about ourselves and use these events as the trigger to start the necessary change to avoid the same situation in the future.

Every time I accept my mistakes and learn from them I am getting wiser and confident.

Just for the record, today I have made a mistake. I have talked to my youngest son in a hungry manner just because I got home tired from work. I apologize right on the spot.

Don’t worry about making mistakes. The important is to learn from them.

I feel the need to start something new, to embrace something bigger than myself, unrealistic, some over the top goal to get out of routine.

What could it be?

I have started this Blog (not a big deal since there are millions of them) with the goal to share some ideas and additionally to start the change in my life.

Now, more than ever, urge to question the rational for everything that we do in life. Asking “Why?” is the only way to know if something is really important for us.

But, questioning the reason behind every action and decision, has a tremendous price and responsibility. Sometimes the price is to stop us and direct us into a different path and it make us responsible for our own life’s course.

As someone wrote: “Rocks on the path? I gather them all. One day I will build a castle…”

Never before was so easy and at the same time such a daunting task to start something on your own.

Today I started my first blog and it feels great to share this thoughts and ideas with myself in the first place and with whoever comes here!

I will write on this blog at least twice a week with simple ideas to share with you. About different sides of life but always with the purpose to encourage you to do better.
